Lab 3.2:   Email and Newsgroups

Communication over the network is one of the important features provided by the Internet. This communication is fast and reliable and allow a user to be in touch with large groups of people.

1. Send an email to your instructor and put some nice image in the attachment.

2. The Publisher and the authors of the textbook have established a discussion group. To get to this group simply follow this link. Then do exercises 3 and 4.

3. Read some posting from other AE Online users.

4. Post a message of your own to the group describing your experience to date in using AE Online.

Note that the discussion group uses WWW forms, instead of e-mail, to post your message to a central repository on the server, instead of sending the message once and having it inaccessible to future readers.
